CARE Groups

NURSING HOME MINISTRY

 The Serenity Center organizes a team of caring volunteers who visit members of Shelby Christian Church who are currently in nursing homes and care facilities. Please contact the Serenity Center if you know of an individual who would benefit from this ministry.

TELECARE MINISTRY

 The TELECARE Ministry reaches out through weekly telephone calls to church members in physical and spiritual need. Please contact the Serenity Center to get involved with this ministry

SPECIAL NEEDS MINISTRY

 The Special Needs Ministry is made up of volunteers who will minister to individuals in need by helping out with tasks such as taking individuals to the doctor or grocery store, preparing food boxes, or any other needs that might arise.

FOOD PANTRY

 The Serenity Center provides food on an emergency basis for the community and those in need. The food is provided by Boy Scout Troop 270 and by individual donations by members of the Shelby Christian Church. If you are in need or know some one in need of food, please contact the Serenity Center.

WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD BASKETS

 The Serenity Center wants to welcome new people to our community and introduce them to the ministries of Shelby Christian Church. This ministry prepares baskets containing small gifts and information concerning Shelby Christian Church and the community.  If you know of someone new to our community, contact  the Serenity Center and a welcome basket will be prepared for you to deliver.
