Who can partake of communion?
SCC believes the Lord’s Supper is open to all committed believers. During this time we try to focus upon Jesus and His sacrificial death on the cross for us.
Should I give to the offering?
SCC believes the ministry of the local church is to be supported by its members. We encourage our members to give sacrificially of at least a tithe. If you are visiting with us please do not feel obligated to participate. This service is a gift to you.
How may I make a decision for Christ or to join the church?
If you are interested in making a commitment to Christ or becoming a part of what God is doing at SCC, please feel free to come forward during the time of invitation offered at the end of each service. To learn more about becoming a Christian, click here.
How is this church organized?
SCC is led by a group of godly elders who work with the staff to cast vision and give oversight to the church. Our deacons help carry out the ministry of the church, along with many ministry leaders, leading in their area of giftedness.
What if I have a special need for prayer?
Each week we receive prayer request on the back of the attendance registration form located on the bottom right hand corner of the Sunday bulletin. The elders of the church pray over those requests every Sunday night. If you have a major illness or upcoming surgery and would like the elders to pray for you in a special time described in James 5:14, please contact the church office and an appointment will be set up at your convenience.
