 Jason has ministered with the students of Shelby Christian since May of 1997. In that time, the Student Ministry has grown not only in numbers, but also in spiritual depth and commitment. Since 2002, Jason has been the speaker at ONEighty, a worship opportunity on Sunday mornings geared to meet the needs of students and young people. Jason leads the student ministry to various conferences and events each year, all with the focus of growing students commitment to Christ and to each other. The student ministry has been involved with mission trips to a children’s home in Missouri, and with inner city work in New Orleans.

Jason’s first love is Christ, his second love is wife, Melinda, but his third love is the University of Kentucky Wildcats. Jason is one of the biggest Cat fans you’ll meet, but he also loves to watch all sports, including cheering for the Dallas Cowboys against the Washington Redskins. Jason also enjoys going out to dinner with Melinda and just hanging out with students.
